
Small Old World warbler with whitish underparts and and olive-brown upperparts. Sometimes has pale yellow on throat and breast. Some yellow wash on the sides of the breast and on the flanks and vent. White supercilium and dark eyeline. Small, partially pale bill and pale legs. Similar to Wood Warbler, which has a bright yellow throat, breast, and supercilium, is greener above, and has much longer primary projection.

Habitat:
Nests in deciduous woodlands with developed understory. Also found in young coniferous forests or shrubby areas.
Behavior:
Actively flits through trees, searching the undersides of leaves for food. Occasionally wags tail, especially when alighting. Nests on the ground.
Feeding:
Feeds on insects, spiders and berries.
