
Range: Found in Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Haiti. Accidental in South Florida.
Identification: (Agelaius humeralis)
Glossy back; smaller and slimmer than Red-winged Blackbird. Tawny lesser coverts and tawny median coverts with yellowish base. Female: Similar to male with smaller tawny epaulets. Slender, pointed, dark bill. Red-winged Blackbird has a red epaulet with more yellow.

Habitat:
Inhabits dry scrubby areas, pastures, and grasslands.
Behavior:
Gregarious and noisy.
Feeding:
Feeds on grain, seeds, insects, and nectar.
