
This Asian species has been established in Southern Florida. The body plumage is brown overall with white undertail coverts and a black hood, which contrasts with the yellow bill and bare skin around the eye. The wing and tail feathers are blackish, with white tips on the tail feathers and a white patch at the base of the primaries. In flight, the underwing coverts are white. The legs are yellow.

Behavior:
Though very social most of the year, this species can be very physically aggressive during the breeding season.
