Gray Jay taken near the cabins in Canyon Village, Yellowstone National Park

This Gray Jay was near the Ferguson Ridge Ski Area on 24 January 2015. Note the limited dark on the mostly pale white-gray head. This type is often referred to as the "Rocky Mountain" form in field guides. Birds showing this appearance are typical in the mountain ranges of northeastern Oregon.
